Crock Pot Beef Teriyaki
Tender chunks of beef are slow-cooked in a savory-sweet teriyaki sauce until perfectly tender, making for a delicious and satisfying meal.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lbs beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- Green onions, thinly sliced for garnish
Instructions:
Put the beef, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and black pepper in a slow cooker
Put the lid on and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours, until the beef is soft
Add water and cornstarch to a small bowl
Stir until the mixture is smooth
Mix it into the slow cooker
Put the lid on top and cook on high for another 30 minutes, or until the sauce gets thicker
Put it on top of rice and add sliced green onions on top
