Fish Taco Wraps
Enjoy the flavors of fish tacos in a convenient wrap form. Crispy seasoned fish strips wrapped in warm tortillas with fresh cabbage, tomatoes, cilantro, and a drizzle of sour cream, these fish taco wraps are a delicious and satisfying meal.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound firm white fish fillets such as cod or tilapia, cut into strips
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded green cabbage
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
Instructions:
In a shallow dish, combine the flour, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper
Dredge the fish strips in the seasoned flour mixture, shaking off any excess
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat
Add the fish strips to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side
Warm the tortillas according to package instructions
Divide the cooked fish among the tortillas
Top each tortilla with shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, and cilantro
Drizzle with sour cream and serve with lime wedges
Fold the tortillas over the filling to form wraps and serve immediately
