Oatmeal Pancakes



These oatmeal pancakes are a nutritious and delicious breakfast option for toddlers. They are made with whole grains and have a hint of cinnamon for extra flavor. Your little one will love them!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

In a blender, combine rolled oats and milk

Blend until oats are finely ground

In a mixing bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon

Add the oat and milk mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until well combined

Beat in the egg, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract, mixing until the batter is smooth

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat

Lightly grease with oil or cooking spray

Pour 1/4 cup portions of the pancake batter onto the hot skillet

Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown

Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more oil to the skillet as needed

Serve warm with your toddler's favorite toppings, such as sliced bananas, berries, or a drizzle of maple syrup
